Raemi is a funny girl! She HATES any messy food, if I give her anything at all wet or sticky in her highchair she touches it once and makes an "icky" face. But she has no problem fingerpainting, playing with pudding, splashing in mud puddles and things of that sort, so I thought she'd be willing to play with wet cornmeal (I saw the idea on a mom's discussion board).
First she just tried to push it away:
She was curious after I dropped in some blue food coloring, but she barely touched and then looked at me like I was crazy.
After I stuck my hands in she touched it, but she was NOT a fan. She didn't cry, but didn't want to play with it either.
She thoroughly enjoyed the bath she got to take afterward though, lol!
